NOTE: Taken in Karachi, Pakistan, "Studying together"
won a Nikon award. I had finished my assignment for UNICEF at this
school and I was leaving the building when I saw these little girls
studying together and giggling. I took three frames and one was
good.
ABOUT
THE ARTIST: As a photographer for the United Nations from
1978 to 1998, John Isaac has covered everything from the Cambodian
killing fields of Pol Pot and the famine in Ethiopoa to wars in
Kuwait, Bosnia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and the Middle East. John's
dramatic images have won many awards, and he now concentrates on
his own work, which has exhibited from Tokyo to Paris. He shoots
exclusively with Olympus cameras. John's features in TheScreamOnline
are January 2002,

July 2003.
