ARTIST'S NOTE: This photo was taken with a Pentax ZX-7 and Scala film on an overcast day in Paris. This image captured my attention for several reasons: the sharp angles of the walled area housing an outdoor photography exhibition, the empty chair, and the single figure in the background all convey a sense of isolation in the center of the city. As a photographer, I am always interested in conveying something illuminating about the human condition.
