Definitely the most emotional moment of the Silmarillion for methe reuniting of Turin's parents over his grave (and his sister's). The father, Hurin, had been held captive in Angband for many long yearsand now is when he finally meets up with his lost wife Morwen. I've always loved this moment so much. In the background you can see the burnt skeletal remains of Glaurung, the great dragon, which Turin killed just before his death. Now atmosphere plays a huge part of any picture, and here I wanted to get that feel of a heavy rain just at sunset (which you will see in the colored version)with the clouds in the West breaking slightly, and mist coming off the ground. I'm very happy with this one.
