Recipient of the UCLA Art Council Award, Dale Chihuly Award, the NCJW/LA Women's Center Gallery Emerging Artist Award, and was artist-in-residence at the American Center in Paris/Cite International des Arts, Sandy Lajer is an artist whose images LA Times writer Anne Marie O'Connell says are "like landscapes of her mind." She has worked with and assisted acclaimed artists, architects, and sculptors such as Piotr Kowalski, Charles Jencks, Laddie John Dill, Hiro Yamagata, Benita Corda, and Huguette Caland, and her work has appeared in juried shows all over Los Angeles.
