“Anton Coppola”

Al Stewart

Anton Coppola is an excellent and extremely knowledgeable conductor of opera, as well as being a fine composer. He is also resident conductor for several opera companies. At the time of this photograph in 1962 he was the musical director for the new Broadway show "Bravo Giovanni," which starred the well known opera singer Cesare Siepi. Anton is seen were studying the score during the cast album recording session at the Columbia Recording Studio on East 30th Street in New York City.
