JOANNE WARFIELD
I and a
group of travelers from Sweden and other parts of the world went for an
outing into the countryside. We had stopped to watch a kite fight, which
was a common game among young people. The kite makers and flyers would
lace their strings with glass or something sharp and try to cut their
opponant's kite free. The object was to be the last kite in the sky. I
was sitting on the roof of a car trying to get a good shot of the kites
when these beautiful young girls, in all their curiosity, came to watch
me. It was a perfect shot looking down on their wonderful faces.
