This is among the first wet paper negative prints I began to experiment with a couple of years ago. I layered two slides together and exposed them onto Polaroid 669, using an old Vivitar slide printer. One of the images is a Peace rose that I shot in 1977, and the other is the figure I used for Persephone (which is impossible to see, though she's in there somewhere). For me, the mysteriousness is in the process itself, with the colors and textures that emerge. I have never been able to replicate the elements in the early pieces, try as I may.
