LUNA
Luna is the name
the Romans gave to the Goddess of the moon. From time eternal, the moon
has been identified as feminine, her cyclical waxing and waning showing
the gentle consistency of change.
Here Luna illuminates the watery depths of emotion with pearlescent light
reflected from the sun. She rules the realm of past memories, dreams and
visions, and the dissolved boundaries between reality and illusion.
Just as the moon rules the great waters, so Luna represents the pull we
feel at the backs of our subconscious minds, giving us clairvoyance, receptivity,
and self-healing.
At first glance, moonlight distorts our views and shows us an eerie and
sometimes disturbing landscape, but when contemplated, this elusive mistress
of illusion shows us the validity of the inner experiences that support
our outer conscious lives.
