Memorial Day, Santa Monica Pier

On May 31, 2004, a poignant memorial was created next to California’s Santa Monica Pier for the 810 American soldiers who, by that date, were killed in Iraq. Those names are listed below. There are no political intentions behind this effort, as some would so hastily presuppose. This is simply our own tribute to those fallen in action.
